About Betty Newman

I became a hypnotherapist after seeing how hypnotherapy can make rapid and permanent changes to such a wide range of problems.

I most enjoy seeing the changes in clients over just a few weeks or in the case of stopping smoking just a single session. Often a client first comes to see me feeling anxious and lacking confidence, and after a couple of sessions feels calm, confident and happier than they have felt in a long time.

I am passionate about hypnotherapy and have a caring, informal approach. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and at ease with me, and when choosing a hypnotherapist you should follow your instincts as to whether that person is right for you.

I work with a wide range of problems in a caring and empathetic manner. I have a great deal of experience with helping people to Stop Smoking and an extremely high success rate. I enjoy helping clients to lose weight and I believe that the Aspira Weight Management Programme is a truly effective way of changing your relationship with food for good.

I am a professionally qualified clinical hypnotherapist registered with The General Hypnotherapy Register. I am committed to undertaking continuing professional development and undergo further training each year. I also practise NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), EMDR (Eyes Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT).
